As part of Bank Sohar’s strategy to provide excellence in customer experience and added convenience to its valued customers, the Bank inaugurated its Nizwa branch in the new location on 26 February 2018 officially under the auspices of H.E. Sheikh Hamed bin Salim bin Saif Al Aghbari, Wali of Nizwa.
Attending the official ceremony from Bank Sohar were Mr. Sasi Kumar, Acting CEO, Mr. AbdulAli Al Lawatia, Senior AGM - Corporate Support, Mr. Khamis Al Rahbi, Senior AGM Retail Banking, Mr. Mazin Mahmood Al Raisi, Senior AGM - Marketing & Customer Experience, Mr. Rashid Al Maskri District Manager Al Batinah region and Mr. Juma Masaood Al Dawudi, Senior Branch Manager, Nizwa Branch.
The opening ceremony began with H.E. Sheikh Hamed bin Salim Aghbari cutting the ribbon, accompanied by the Bank’s senior officials and a number of the Bank’s VIP customers from the region. The guests were then taken on a short tour of the Branch and briefed on the various products and services offered by Bank Sohar.
Commenting on the official opening of the Nizwa branch in the new location, Mr. Sasi Kumar, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Bank Sohar said, “We are committed to provide customers across the Sultanate with a comprehensive suite of financial services coupled with innovation, convenience and customer service excellence. The opening of the branch in its new location comes as part of the Bank’s consistent efforts to ensure customer convenience and easy accessibility.
