Celebrating 10 years of banking excellence within the Sultanate, Bank Sohar took festivities for the landmark occasion to customers across its nation-wide network. Celebrations unfolded at all the Bank’s branches in various regions including Dhofar, Al Dhakhliya, Al Batinah, Al Sharqiya and Al Buraimi on April 13th, where Bank Sohar welcomed customers and invited them to be part of this significant milestone.
Representing Bank Sohar at the each of the branch events were members of the Executive Management of the Bank.

The events and festivities for customers of Al Dhakhliya region were held at the Nizwa branch under the auspices of H.E. Shaikh Hamed Salim Al Aghbari, the Wali of Nizwa, and were overseen by Mr. Mazin Mahmood Al Raisi, Sr. AGM and Head of Marketing and Customer Experience. Customers of the Al Batinah region participated in the celebrations hosted at Sohar branch, which was held under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Issa Al Zadjali, Member of the Shura Council Wilayat of Sohar and was overseen by Mr. Mustafa Ali Mukhtar, DGM and Acting Head of Wholesale Banking. Bank Sohar’s customers from the Dhofar region were involved in celebrations at the Bank’s Salalah branch under the auspices of H.E. Shaikh Amur Salim Mahad Kashoub, Wali of Al Mazyoona; they were overseen by Mr. Khalid Khalfan Rashid Al Subhi, AGM and Head of Compliance. The events for Al Sharqiya region were conducted at Sur branch and were held under the auspices of H.E. Shaikh Amour said Ali Al Musharfi, Member of the Shura Council of Sur; the festivities were overseen by Mr. Mujahid Said Al Zadjali, DGM of IT and Alternate Channels. The Al Buraimi Government event was conducted at Buraimi branch under the auspices of H.E. Shaikh Saleh Thiab Said Al Rubai, Wali of Al Buraimi, and was overseen by Mr. Salim Khamis Saif Al Maskry, DGM & Head Sohar Islamic. To mark the joyous occasion, each of these regional events included a cake cutting ceremony led by the Chief Guest, together with the attending executive management members at each of the respective branches. The chief guests were each presented with a token of appreciation from the Bank at the end of each event.
